I'm desperately trying to avoid the whole car lending thing as I'm a glutton for punishment.

To be honest I think that I was really suck! Those cars got me going again
In other news, I won a Ferrari Enzo last night for something! Not sure what!

Yes! I can't post the full details because of the character limit - but those seasonal specials are cash-cows and the addition of the online dealership helps finding hard to get cars easier. Also, there's a temporary credit boost for events up to the end of January..

Re: GT5 chit-chat
OMG, what a refreshing change for an update to make a game better! I was doing a seasonal race last night and gained more credits from two races than my whole GT5 career so far!
Impressed muchly I am!

Looking forward to a race or two tonight!.....
Mick can you post two or three BHP limits we can set cars up too for competitive racing without using the standard GT5 cars?

Re: GT5 chit-chat
Right b!tches, read this carefully. Last night with the assistance of Cornishpastie and Gunnell (thanks Guys!) I have gone through the many BHP limits that the online game has and these appear to be the favourites. They go up in approx. 50BHP limits:-
207BHP
256BHP
305BHP
355BHP
404BHP
453BHP
502BHP
552BHP
601BHP
650BHP
700BHP
749BHP
808BHP
907BHP
1000+BHP (UNRESTRICTED IN OTHER WORDS)
As exp points and credits are earned for online races, the more players, the more credits. I hope the limits will suit everybody and if in doubt the preloaded garage always has a car to use (and most of the time beat everybody).
Enjoy!

Re: GT5 chit-chat
Have noted the BHP limits and will now start limiting the room to a selection of them - so get your cars ready for each limit.
I would also like to suggest an 85bhp* limit for just one class of cars - the VW Camper van! Basically, you can do all the mods except sticking a turbo on to keep it under the limit, so don't waste your credits on turbos.
Nordschleife in the VW's felt like I was going on a picnic - should be a good laugh once we get a few of us on..
*From memory, will check this later.

The race mod makes a hell of a difference, plus you can do some extra tweaks afterwards

Re: GT5 chit-chat
Evening all,
Not been here for a while sadly. Nor have i been playing GT5 as much as i should, naughty of me really.
So what are all these extra races Mick, can i find them in the Lounge area of the game?
Also did you see that next month Gran Turismo Anywhere is being added that will let you control the B-Spec side of the game from your desk top/mobile device etc etc?.
Bye bye productivity at work then.

Re: GT5 chit-chat
There's a seasonal events option now in the GT Life home screen. Easy money, season 3 and 4 are still available, 3.5 million for completing each of them so get playing as season 3 expires on Thursday.
Re: GT5 chit-chat
Yeah, as Tony said, they're on the front page in the GT mode (GT life home page). You need to be on 1.5 version of the game.
Saw the B-spec anywhere thingy too. Looking forward to spam the endurance races whilst P&O pay me for the privilege.
